About Florida Coalition to Prevent Veteran Homelessness

The Florida Coalition to Prevent Veteran Homelessness resolves that “We will not leave our Veteran Service Members when they return home to Florida.” In 2019, Florida had the 3rd largest homeless population in the U.S.- behind California and New York.

Florida Homeless Veterans’ population during 2019 were 1,576 sheltered and 896 unsheltered. The Florida Coalition to Prevent Veteran Homelessness, Inc., will prevent or mitigate veteran homelessness by motivating and mobilizing other community-based agencies to assist in ensuring the "No man left behind” ethos.

 Our Mission

The Mission of the Florida Coalition to Prevent Veteran Homelessness is to prevent and end Veteran Homeless-

ness across Florida.
